BBC sends dramas Worldwide

The commercial arm of the BBC is sending some of its dramas, including The Paradise and Top of the Lake, around the world.

At BBC Worldwide’s annual showcase event, which draws hundreds of international broadcasters, the content distributor announced several deals.

Israeli broadcaster IBA has picked up shop-based period drama The Paradise and season one of Call the Midwife, while another Israeli network Yes DBS secured a deal for forthcoming Starz series Da Vinci’s Demons, written by David S Goyer, The Fear and The Secret of Crickley Hall.
