Broadcasters in Germany, Russia, Spain and Turkey are among those to have signed acquisition deals for A Young Doctor’s Notebook.
The four-part series, which is produced by Big Talk Productions and aired on Sky Arts in the UK, sees Jon Hamm and Daniel Radcliffe play old and young versions of the eponymous doctor in a series based on the semi-autobiographical short stories by Mikhail Bulgakov.
Distributor BBC Worldwide has now sold the series to RTL Passion in Germany, RenTV in Russia, Wuaki.tv in Spain, Yes DBS in Israel, Dogus Yayin in Turkey and HBO across Latin America.
The story follows a young medical graduate’s introduction to his practice, narrated by his older self.
It is produced by Clelia Mountford and executive produced by Kenton Allen and Jon Hamm.
