US broadcaster ABC has already cancelled first-year dramas 666 Park Avenue and Last Resort this year.
And the axe has now fallen on conspiracy thriller Zero Hour, which has been pulled from its schedule after just three episodes.
The series debuted on February 14 and pulled in 6.38 million viewers, dropping to about five million for episode three – the most recent installment to air.
The story follows the publisher of a conspiracy magazine who is dragged into a worldwide treasure hunt when his wife is abducted.
It is executive produced by Lorenzo DiBonaventura, Paul Scheuring and Dan McDermott for ABC Studios, One Light Road and DiBonaventura Pictures Television.
