Neighbours move to Denmark

Everybody needs good neighbours – and that includes Danish public broadcaster DR.

DR has struck a deal with FremantleMedia International to pick up rights to daily Australian drama Neighbours.

The series, produced by FremantleMedia Australia, begins today and will be stripped Monday to Friday.

Neighbours first aired down under in 1985, introducing viewers to the residents living in Ramsay Street in Melbourne.

It airs on Network Ten in Australia and Channel 5 in the UK.
