BBC crime drama Inspector George Gently is set to return for a seventh season, with four new feature-length films set to begin production.
The 1960s-set films are called Gently Between The Lines by Tim Prager; Green For Greencoat by Jess Williams; Gently Going Under by Mike Cullen; and Gently From The Cold, also by Jess Williams.
Inspector George Gently is produced for BBC One by Company Pictures. It is executive produced by Clair Ingham, Peter Flannery and John Yorke for Company Pictures and Polly Hill for the BBC. The films are produced by Matthew Bird (Death in Paradise).
