With an increasing number of eyeballs now watching television online, US broadcaster CBS has signed a pair of deals to send its legal drama The Good Wife onto a number of VoD platforms.
Amazon Prime Instant Video will begin streaming episodes from the first three seasons on March 14,with season four due to debut later this year.
Hulu Plus will also make previous seasons available from September, building on a previous deal between CBS and Hulu for library content and CBS-produced series that air on The CW.
Furthermore, CBS has also secured an off-network deal with cable network Hallmark Channel, which will launch the series in January 2014.
The Good Wife, which combines legal and family drama genres, debuted on CBS in 2009 and is now in its fourth season.
It was created by Robert King and Michelle King and is produced by CBS Television Studios in association with Scott Free Productions. Its executive producers are Ridley Scott, Robert King, Michelle King, David Zucker, Brooke Kennedy, Ted Humphrey, Keith Eisner and Leonard Dick.
