E4 stuck on Glue

Channel 4’s sister network E4 has ordered a new crime drama from the writer of BBC3 supernatural thriller The Fades.

Glue (8×60′), written by Jack Thorne, is described as a series about murder and secrets in the countryside as, when the body of a teenage traveller is discovered, his friends are forced to open up their world and reveal their secrets.

Eleven Film is producing the series, which is produced by Joel Wilson and executive produced by Thorne and Jamie Campbell.

Entertainment One has secured international distribution rights outside the UK as part of its new first-look deal with Eleven Film.

Glue is the latest original drama commissioned by E4, joining My Mad Fat Diary and Youngers on the network’s slate.
