US cable channel Bravo has pushed three new scripted projects into development.
Girlfriend’s Guide to Divorce is based on the books by Vicki Iovine about a best-selling author of a self-help book series who hides her separation from her husband as she begins life as a 40-something single woman in Los Angeles.
It is produced by Universal Cable Productions. Writer Marti Noxon executive produces with Iovine, Dawn Olmstead and Meryl Poster.
Heiresses comes from Warner Horizon and Alloy Entertainment and is based on the book by Sara Shepard.
The drama follows a wealthy family on the New York’s Upper East Side who have built their fortune on diamonds. Due to a clause the grandfather placed in his will, only his granddaughters are set to inherit his massive fortune – the heiresses – but after the death of their cousin, the remaining heiresses try to figure out if the family curse is real or not, and if not, who killed their cousin and which one of them could be next?
Les Morgenstein and Gina Girolamo will executive produce the series.
High and Low is a period drama set in the 1980s world of art, food and Wall Street through the eyes of rival brothers, from different mothers, who set up a restuarant together and force their families to come together.
Michael Jackson, Rachael Horovitz and writer Michael Imperioli executive produce.
