Globo TV tells Enchanted Tale

Broadcasters in Dubai and Egypt have acquired Brazilian telenovela Cordel Encantado (aka The Enchanted Tale) from Globo TV International.

OSN in Dubai and CBC in Egypt have picked up the 110×45′ series, which follows a princess and the son of bandits who must overcome a series of obstacles on the path of true love.

It is written by Thelma Guedes, Tuca Rachid and Thereza Falcão.

Meanwhile, another Globo telenovela has made its debut in Uruguay.

Araguaia (aka Destiny River, 105×45′), which began airing on Teledoce on April 10, tells the story of a man marked by an Indian curse who falls in love with a mysterious Indian.

It is written by Walter Negrão.
