Syfy returns to its Haven

It began life as an adaptation of Stephen King’s novella The Colorado Kid.

And now Haven is preparing for its fourth season after starting production ahead of its October premiere on US cable channel Syfy.



Filmed in Halifax, Nova Scotia, the 13-episode season continues the story of a former FBI agent who becomes a cop in the small town of Haven, Maine, and soon discovers the town’s many secrets also hold the key to unlocking her mysterious past.

Season three drew an average of 2.3 million viewers.

Haven is produced by Entertainment One and Big Motion Pictures, and co-commissioned by Shaw Media for Showcase in Canada and Universal Networks International for Syfy around the world.

It is executive produced by EOne’s John Morayniss; David MacLeod of Big Motion Pictures; Lloyd Segan, Shawn Piller, Scott Shepherd of Piller/Segan/Shepherd; Matt McGuinness; and co-developers Sam Ernst and Jim Dunn.
