BBC adopts Salamander

The BBC has been shopping in Belgium to pick up its latest European acquisition.

Salamander (12×60′), produced by Skyline Entertainment, is a thriller about an old-school cop investigating a raid involving 66 safe-deposit boxes in a Brussels bank and is dragged into a conspiracy that could bring down a nation.

It will air on BBC Four following a deal with distributor Beta Films. The series originally aired on Belgium’s Channel Eén.
