Swedish film production company Sonet Film is moving into television and is working with writers including Henning Mankell (Wallander) and Anne Holt.
The new division, called Sonet Television, already has drama and crime projects into development, which will be created for the local and international market.
Other writers working with Sonet include Håkan Nesser, Kerstin Ekman, Lars Kepler and Leif GW Persson.
The management team will be led by Sonet Films CEO Peter Possne and producers Rickard Petrelius and Sandra Harms, alongside Ingrid Dahlberg, who joins from her role as head of drama for Swedish public broadcaster SVT.
Shooting of Sonet’s first television series is due to begin in 2014.Source: Bonnier
