Dominic West leads The Affair

He made his name in HBO’s celebrated crime drama The Wire, starred in BBC period drama The Hour and won awards for his portrayal of serial killer Fred West in ITV two-parter Appropriate Adult.

Now Dominic West is returning to US cable after accepting the lead role in Showtime’s drama pilot The Affair.

West will play Noah, a husband and father-of-four whose world implodes when he meets a woman he thinks is his soul mate.

Created by writer Sarah Treem and Hagai Levi, the story will be told from the point of view of both the male and female perspective.

Treem also produces while Levi will executive produce with director Mark Mylod.
