FremantleMedia North America (FMNA) has strengthened its scripted development with two new hires.
Craig Cegielski has been named executive vice president, scripted programming and development, and joins from Open Circle Entertainment – the production company he set up with Susan Gross in January this year.
He was previously president of GK-TV, part of GK Films, which produced series including Camelot and Continuum.
Cegielski will report to Thom Beers, CEO of FMNA.
Stefanie Berk joins FMNA as senior vice president of scripted programming and development. She was previously head of development at Playtone.
She will report to Cegielski.
FMNA’s scripted script includes The CW’s forthcoming series The Tomorrow People, which will debut this fall. It also has development deals with Random House, Pukeko Pictures, Mike Tollin Productions and producer Barry Josephson.
