Canadian network Bravo has ordered an English-language adaptation of French-Canadian series 19-2.
The original series debuted in Quebec in 2011 and is now being remade by Sphere Media Plus and Echo Media for Bell Media-owned Bravo for a 2014 debut.
A 10×60′ series will begin production this autumn with showrunner Bruce Smith and co-executive producers Jesse McKeown and Virginia Rankin already onboard.
19-2 follows the lives of two Montreal patrol officers – one a veteran, the other a new recruit – who must put their differences aside as their lives come together both personally and professionally.
The executive producers are Jocelyn Deschênes and Carolyn Newman from Sphere Media Plus and Luc Chatelain from Echo Media.
