The Last Cop is heading to France.
TF1 has commissioned a local version of the German crime drama, which will be known locally as Falco and air on June 20.
The story of The Last Cop follows a police officer who clashes with modern times after spending 17 years in a coma.
It will star Sagamore Stévenin as the macho cop Alexandre Falco in a series produced by Beaubourg Audiovisuel.
The original version, known as Der letzte Bulle, airs in Germany on Sat.1 and the format deal was completed by distributor Red Arrow International.
The Last Cop is also being adapted for US television by Fabrik Entertainment and Fox Television Studios for cable channel TNT. Sylvester Stallone is one of the executive producers with Kevin King, Mikkel Bondesen, Henrik Bastin, writer Chris Fedak and co-executive producer Kristen Campo.Source: ProSiebenSat.1
