Dancing on the Edge, the BBC period drama set in 1930s London, has been acquired by US premium cable network Starz.
The five-part miniseries from writer/director Stephen Poliakoff tells the story of a group of black jazz musicians and their rise to stardom – until they become entangled in a murder conspiracy.
The cast includes Chiwetel Ejiofor, Matthew Goode, Jacqueline Bisset, Angela Coulby, Wunmi Mosaku, Janet Montgomery, Anthony Head, Tom Hughes and John Goodman.
Dancing on the Edge is produced by Ruby Film and Television for BBC Two. It is produced by Nicky Kentish Barnes and Faye Ward, and the executive producers are Poliakoff, James D Stern, Douglas E Hansen, Colin Callender, Alison Owen, Paul Trijbits, Dan Lawson and Peter Hampden.
It will air on Starz from October this year.
ITV Studios Global Entertainment holds international distribution rights to the series.
