Two of Brazil’s biggest telenovelas have been picked up by broadcasters in Latin America.
RCN in Colombia has acquired Brazil Avenue from Globo TV International, the distribution arm of the Brazilian broadcaster TV Globo.
Brazil Avenue is the story of a young girl who struggles to get her life back from her cruel stepmother.
It has now been licensed to 106 countries worldwide and dubbed into 14 languages.
Meanwhile, City TV, which is based in the Colombian capital of Bogota, has picked up Gabriela, the remake of the 1970s drama about a young immigrant who captivates everyone with her naïve yet provocative sensuality.
