German distributor ZDF Enterprises has picked up rights to upcoming drama Talking to the Dead as part of a development deal with UK production company Bonafide Films.
Bonafide is producing two-part drama Talking to the Dead for Sky Living, the story of a newly qualified detective on her first case.
As part of the new development deal, ZDFE will provide financial investment in the form of international co-production agreements, acquisitions and licensing deals for Bonafide Films’ new productions and will distribute the content internationally.
The partnership will look to develop fresh, bold drama and comedy series for UK and international broadcasters.
Bonafide Films was founded by Sacha Alexander and Margery Bone.
Talking to the Dead, based on Harry Bingham’s novel, is a coproduction between Bonafide Films and Warp Films, and stars Sophie Rundle, Russell Tovey and Keith Allen.Source: ZDF Enterprises
