UKTV-owned network Alibi has added to its slate of US imports after picking up rights to crime drama King & Maxwell.
Based on the novels by David Baldacci, King & Maxwell (10×60′) stars Jon Tenney and Rebecca Romijn as a pair of former Secret Service agents-turned-private investigators who use their skills contacts to overtake conventional forms of justice.
It is produced by CBS Television Studios in association with Shane Brennan Productions for US cable network TNT. Brennan, who developed the series, is an executive producer with Grant Anderson and Chris Downey.
Karen Spiegel is the producer and Baldacci is series consultant.
UKTV picked up the series in a deal with CBS Studios International. It will air on Alibi in the first quarter of 2014.
Other US dramas airing on Alibi include Rizzoli & Isles, Castle and Body of Proof.
