NBC swims with Aquarius

NBC is going straight-to-series on a new 13-part drama starring David Duchovny.

Set in the late-1960s, Aquarius follows a Los Angeles police sergeant with a complicated personal life who stars tracking a small-time criminal and budding cult leader seeking vulnerable women to join his cause – Charles Manson.

It comes from writer John McNamara, who executive produces with Duchovny, Marty Adelstein and Melanie Greene.

Aquarius is produced by ITV Studios America in association with Marty Adelstein Productions.
