UKTV-owned Watch has acquired NBC’s midseason drama Crisis.
The 13×60′ series, starring Gillian Anderson and Dermot Mulroney, follows the abduction of several children of Washington DC’s most powerful players, including the President’s son. As parents and dignitaries are put into play with nowhere to turn and no-one to trust, panic sets in and puts the entire nation at stake.
Rachael Taylor and Lance Gross also head the cast.
Crisis was created by executive producer and writer Rand Ravich. Far Shariat and Phillip Noyce also executive produce.
The series is distributed by Twentieth Century Fox Television Distribution. It will air on Watch later this year.
