ITV is heading to the Lake District for a new four-part drama.
Safe House, produced by Eleventh Hour Films, is described as an “atmospheric” thriller about a married couple who turn their remote guest house into a safe house.
Created and written by Michael Crompton, it is the first production to be originated and developed by the UK indie.
Jill Green, managing director of Eleventh Hour Films, is the executive producer.
Filming is due to take place this autumn.
Eleventh Hour Films is also currently in production on a ninth season of Foyle’s War for ITV.
