US cable network TNT has greenlit two new dramas for 2015.
The first is a ten-part police series called Public Morals, which is set in 1960s New York and follows the city’s Public Morals Division, where cops walk the line between morality and criminality.
It stars Edward Burns, Michael Rapaport and Elizabeth Masucci. From Amblin Television, it is executive produced by Steven Spielberg, Justin Falvey, Darryl Frank and Aaron Lubin.
The second is Proof, starring Jennifer Beals as a brilliant surgeon who is persuaded to investigate cases of reincarnation, out-of-body experiences, hauntings and other supernatural phenomenon – all to discover whether truth is really the end.
The cast also includes Matthew Modine, Joe Morton, Callum Blue, Edi Gathegi, Annie Thurman, Sean Gleeson and Caroline Rose Kaplan.
Also a ten-part series, Proof is executive produced by Kyra Sedgwick, writer Rob Bragin, Tom Jacobson, Jill Littman, and Alex Graves.
