ABC shuts Black Box

ABC medical drama Black Box has been cancelled after just one episode.

All 13 episodes of the series aired following its debut in April.

But after drawing 6.87 million viewers for its debut, it fell to less than four million and the network decided not to renew it.

The show follows Catherine Black, a world-famous neurologist at the state-of-the-art medical institution known as The Cube who hides a secret – she’s bipolar.

It stars Kelly Reilly, Ditch Davey, David Ajala, Ali Wong, Laura Fraser, David Chisum, Siobhan Williams, Terry Kinney and Vanessa Redgrave.
