One woman’s response to her daughter’s murder in the July 7 London bombings is the subject of a new one-off film for BBC One.
Factual drama A Song for Jenny (1×75′) explores Julie Nicholson’s reaction to her daughter Jenny’s murder at Edgware Road tube station on July 7, 2005.
Emily Watson stars in the film, which is written by Frank McGuiness from Julie’s book. It is produced by BBC Drama Production.
It will be executive produced by Stephen Wright, produced by Liz Trubridge and directed by Brian Percival.
A Song for Jenny will air as part of programming to mark the tenth anniversary of the attacks in July 2015.
Filming will take place in London.
