German distributor Beta Film has landed rights to a Spanish series from the makers of Grand Hotel and Velvet.
Under Suspicion (aka Bajos Sospecha, 10×70′), produced by Bambú Producciones, will air on Atresmedia’s Antena 3 at the beginning of next year.
The story starts on the day of the first communion of seven-year-old Alicia, who disappears without a trace. After two weeks of thorough search, the police is only sure about one thing: the person responsible for her disappearance was invited to the ceremony and, therefore, that person was a member of the girl’s family.
Created by Ramon Campos, Teresa Fernandez Valdés and Gema Rodriguez Neira, Under Suspicion stars Yon González, Blanca Romero and Lluís Homar.
Beta also distributes Spanish hits Grand Hotel and Velvet, also produced by Bambú.
