CBS backs new fall dramas

CBS has given a vote of confidence to its new fall dramas by giving all four full-season orders.

NCIS: New Orleans is averaging 18.16 million viewers so far, second only to parent series NCIS among broadcast network dramas.

It stars Scott Bakula, Lucas Black, Zoe McLellan, CCH Pounder and Rob Kerkovich. Gary Glasberg, Mark Harmon, Jeffrey Lieber and James Hayman executive produce for CBS Television Studios.

Scorpion is doing similarly well on Monday nights, averaging 15.17 million viewers.

Madam Secretary has secured an average of 13.53 million viewers so far in its Sunday night slot leading into The Good Wife.

It stars Téa Leoni, Tim Daly, Bebe Neuwirth, Željko Ivanek, Patina Miller, Erich Bergen, Geoffrey Arend, Kathrine Kerzer, Evan Roe and Wallis-Currie Wood. The show is a CBS Television Studios production in association with Revelations Entertainment. Barbara Hall executive produces with Lori McCreary, Morgan Freeman, and David Semel.

Meanwhile, Wednesday night entry Stalker is averaging 9.49 million viewers.

Maggie Q leads the cast, which also includes Dylan McDermott, Victor Rasuk, Mariana Klaveno and Elisabeth Röhm. Kevin Williamson is the executive producer for Warner Bros. Television.
