Hulu takes Fargo rights

US VoD platform Hulu has picked up exclusive rights to Fargo.

Subscribers to Hulu will be able to see all episodes of season one from 2015, following a deal with MGM International Television Distribution.

Fargo, which airs on FX, is produced by MGM Television and FX Productions.

In a further deal with MGM, Hulu has also landed rights to History’s original scripted series Vikings.

Season one and two of the show are now available, with season three launching in February.

The extended partnership between Hulu and MGM builds on a previous deal that gave the VoD player access to more than 1,500 episodes of series including the Stargate franchise (Stargate Universe, Stargate Atlantis, Stargate: SG-1), and Flipper, Green Acres, and The Addams Family.
