A US network has partnered Sky One for its new drama Apocalypse Slough.
NBC will air the 10×60′ series, which will have a cast headlined by Rob Lowe, Jenna Fischer, Megan Mullally, Mathew Baynton, Pauline Quirke, Paterson Joseph, and Joel Fry.
It will be known as Apocalypse to US audiences.
Apocalypse Slough is set during the last days of mankind, when the lives of an eclectic group of seemingly unconnected characters around the world start to intersect in the most unexpected ways as a comet surges towards earth.
It is produced by Working Title Television and Bigballs Films. The creator, Iain Hollands, is also the lead writer.
The executive producers are Juliette Howell, Tim Bevan, Eric Fellner, Lynn Horsford, Andrew Conrad, Cameron Roach, and Lizzie Gray. The producers are Polly Buckle, Nick Pitt, and Susie Liggat.
NBCUniversal International Television Distribution will distribute the series worldwide.
