Australia’s Channel Seven has picked up rights to UK crime drama Suspects.
The procedural series, which airs on Channel 5, follows a team of detectives as they investigate the crime, analyse the evidence and interview the suspects.
It stars Fay Ripley, Damien Molony, and Clare-Hope Ashitey.
Suspects will air down under on Seven’s 7TWO network after a deal for four seasons of the show was completed with distributor FremantleMedia International.
The series is developed and produced by FremantleMedia UK’s drama label Newman Street and is executive produced by Paul Marquess.
Season three debuted on Channel 5 earlier this month, while the four-season deal with Seven suggests a fourth season will be produced.
