Swedish drama 30 Degrees in February will land on Sky Arts later this month.
The UK network has acquired rights to the ten-part series, known locally as 30 Grader I Februari, which is set in Thailand where hundreds of thousands of Swedes descend every winter.
The story follows a group of people looking for their own escape amongst the sandy beaches and bustling towns of Thailand.
30 Degrees in February is produced by Fundament Film for SVT, and is distributed by Beta Film.
Sky Arts is continuing to build its slate of acquired foreign language dramas, with this latest addition joining Spanish period drama Grand Hotel, Israel’s Hatufim (Prisoners of War) and Italy’s Romanzo Criminale.
The network has also picked up season two of Danish drama Arvingerne (aka The Legacy), from broadcaster DR. It will air later this year.
