The small screen adaptation of Bruce Willis movie 12 Monkeys has landed in the UK.
Syfy has acquired the series in deal between Universal Networks International and NBCUniversal International Television Distribution.
It was originally commissioned by Syfy in the US.
12 Monkeys (13×60′) stars Aaron Stanford as time-traveller, Cole, who utilises a dangerous and untested method of time travel to journey from a decimated future in 2043 to present day on a mission to save the human race from an imminent deadly plague.
The cast also includes Amanda Schull, Kirk Acevedo, Barbara Sukowa and Noah Bean.
It is produced by Universal Cable Productions in association with Atlas Entertainment.
Charles Roven executive produces with Richard Suckle and showrunner Natalie Chaidez. Jake Kurily is the producer, while co-creators Terry Matalas and Travis Fickett are co-executive producers.
The series will debut on Syfy in the UK on February 27.
