FX spies fourth season of The Americans

Cold War spy drama The Americans has been ordered for a fourth season on US cable channel FX.

The series explores the complex marriage of two KGB spies posing as Americans in suburban Washington DC shortly after Ronald Reagan is elected President.

It stars Matthew Rhys, Keri Russell, and Noah Emmerich.

Creator Joe Weisberg executive produces with Joel Fields, Graham Yost, and Daniel Sackheim, with Amblin Television’s Justin Falvey, and Darryl Frank. It is produced by Fox 21 Television Studios and FX Productions.

Season three is due to conclude on April 22, with the 13-episode season four due to air in 2016.
