Catherine Bell will star in a second season of Hallmark Channel’s original series Good Witch.
The actress will return for 12 new episodes, including a two-hour premiere, after the series was renewed for a second season on the US cable channel.
Good Witch follows Cassie Nightingale (Bell) and her life with her daughter, Grace, and handsome neighbour Dr Sam Radford. Cassie takes on all the fun and romance of life one day or one spell at a time.
The cast also includes James Denton, and Bailee Madison.
It is produced by Whizbang Films, with Orly Adelson, Jonathan Eskenas, Frank Siracusa, Craig Pryce, and Sue Tenney executive producing. Bell is a co-executive producer, and Andrea Raffaghello is the producer.
The series is based on Hallmark Channel’s original movie franchise.
Season two of Good Witch is due to launch this autumn with a two-hour premiere, followed by ten new episodes in early 2016.
ITV Studios Global Entertainment distributes the series outside North America.
