Crackle studies The Art of More

US VoD platform Crackle has ordered its first one-hour original drama.

Set in the world of auction houses, The Art of More follows a man who works his way into this business by exploiting his connections to antiquities smuggling rings he was exposed to as a soldier in Iraq.

The ten-part series stars Dennis Quaid, Christian Cooke, and Kate Bosworth.

Writers Gardner Stern and Chuck Rose executive produce with Quaid, Laurence Mark, and Gary Fleder.

It is due to debut this winter.

A second original drama, Capo, is also in development at Crackle.

It follows a man who emerges from prison into a world where his once strong mafia family has eroded, leaving him with no direction and a desire to recreate his past.

Capo is produced by Relativity Television and Hollywood Gang Productions. Tom Forman, Andrew Marcus, Ray Ricord, Gianni Nunnari, and Shannon Gaulding executive produce.

Another in development is the fourth season of action thriller Chosen.

The ten-part series is executive produced by Milo Ventimiglia, Ben Ketai, Ryan Lewis, and Russ Cundiff.
