Networks in France and Poland have acquired German historical drama Nackt unter Wölfen (aka Naked Among Wolves).
The 1×102′ film has been bought by M6 in France, TVP in Poland, Just Entertainment for Benelux, and LRT in Lithuania.
Global Screen negotiated the deals.
Set in March 1945 in the Buchenwald concentration camp, Nackt unter Wölfen sees a three-year-old Jewish boy smuggled into the camp inside a suitcase and the inmates’ effort to keep him alive becomes a metaphor for their struggle to survive.
The cast includes Florian Stetter, Peter Schneider, Sylvester Groth, and Sabin Tambrea.
It is produced by UFA Fiction for ARD. Stefan Kolditz wrote the film based on the novel of the same name by Bruno Apitz.
Meanwhile, Global Screen is also distributing A Dangerous Fortune (2×90′), an adaptation of Ken Follett’s novel, which will be delivered in January 2016. It is produced by Constantin Television for ZDF.
