Syfy shuts down Helix

Helix has been cancelled after two seasons on US cable channel Syfy.

The story follows a team of scientists who investigate a possible disease outbreak in an Arctic research facility and find themselves trying to protect the world from annihilation.

Helix is produced by Tall Ship Productions, Kaji Productions and Lynda Obst Productions, in association with Sony Pictures Television. The executive producers are Ronald D Moore, showrunner Steven Maeda and Lynda Obst. The co-executive producer is Cameron Porsandeh.
