New faces have joined the second season of ITV crime drama Prey, which has begun production.
Myanna Buring, Nathan Stewart-Jarrett, Ralph Ineson, and Sammy Winward have joined Philip Glenister and Rosie Cavaliero on the three-part run.
The story sees prison officer David Murdoch’s (Glenister) life become complicated when on a routine visit to a Manchester hospital with female prisoner Jules Hope (Buring) events spiral out of control. David takes a phone call that will change his life forever and suddenly sees him on the wrong side of the law.
With the life of his heavily pregnant daughter, Emma (Winward), threatened, David has no alternative but to go on the run and inadvertently becomes ‘the prey’.
Kieran O’Brien and Lisa Millet have also joined the cast.
Written by Prey creator Chris Lunt and produced by Red Production Company, it is executive produced by Nicola Shindler and produced by Tom Sherry.
