The series follows Cruz, the first and only female police detective in Acapulco, as police investigations pit her against Mexico’s drug cartel violence, government corruption, and gender bias against a woman in a traditionally male occupation.
Skopov’s TV credits include Xena: Warrior Princess, and Farscape.
